The imagery
A religious teacher sits between two gray pillars, wearing a triple crown and raising a hand in blessing while holding a triple cross. Two acolytes kneel before him, and crossed keys lie at his feet. There is value in what has been tried and tested. The Hierophant invites you to seek out a mentor, a tradition, a practice or a community that can hold you while you grow. Learning from those who came before is not a loss of individuality; it gives your own voice deeper roots. Find the rituals that make you feel part of something larger.

rebellion · dogma · nonconformity · questioning rules
A rule, belief or institution no longer fits who you are becoming, and you are feeling the friction. It may be time to question inherited ideas about how life is supposed to look. Rebellion can be healthy when it leads you toward your own truth rather than simply away from someone else's. Keep the wisdom and release the dogma.

Shared values and commitments come into focus, perhaps a conversation about what you each want long term. Honoring traditions, or consciously creating your own, strengthens the bond.

Structured learning, certifications or guidance from an experienced mentor will serve you. Working within established systems is the faster route right now.
