The Tower
What falls was never built on truth.
The imagery
Lightning strikes a tall tower on a rocky peak, knocking off its golden crown as flames burst from the windows and two figures fall through the dark sky. Drops of light shaped like the Hebrew letter Yod rain down around them. The tower is a structure built on false assumptions, and the lightning is sudden truth breaking it open.
Upright
sudden change · upheaval · revelation · awakening · liberation
Something you relied on may be shaking or falling, and that can be frightening. The Tower clears away structures, beliefs or situations that were built on shaky ground, so that you can rebuild on something truer. In the moment it feels like chaos; looking back, it often feels like liberation. Let yourself be shaken, then notice what is still standing, because that is your foundation.
Reversed
averting disaster · fear of change · delayed collapse · inner upheaval
You may be bracing against a change you can sense coming, or the upheaval is happening internally rather than out in the world. Delaying the inevitable can be more exhausting than facing it. Ask what you already know needs to come down. Choosing the change yourself can make it gentler.
In love
A sudden revelation may change how you see a relationship. Painful as it may be, the truth will help you build something more honest.
In work
Unexpected shifts in your career may disrupt your plans, but they also open paths you could not have seen before. Stay adaptable.
Advice
In the middle of chaos, focus only on the next right step. You do not need to rebuild everything today.
